Making shoes should
not be rushed.

We are a small house in Alicante. We cut, stitch and assemble each pair in the same workshop where our grandfather started. We do not chase trends: we chase the perfect last.

Lumine workshop
01

Leather first

We work exclusively with full-grain bovine leather, vegetable-tanned in Ubrique. No plastic coatings: leather must breathe, age and gain character over the years.

02

Hands, not machines

Each pair passes through twelve different hands. Cutters, preparers, fitters, finishers. Blake stitching is done one by one, with no quick adhesives or shortcuts.

03

Fewer references, more time

We prefer twenty well-resolved models to two hundred correct ones. Each season we add little and remove carefully. The classics stay.

Our workshop is ten minutes from Elda, the birthplace of Spanish women's footwear. We work with leather suppliers from Ubrique and use our own last developed over forty years.
